Finding PIN to access passwords stored on Firefox.
I used to access the passwords and addresses stored on Firefox by putting in my Primary Password. But now it keeps asking me for a PIN. I can't sign in to Firefox to get the PIN because Plusnet closed down our email account without telling us, so my old email address is no longer valid.. We now use Gmail. But I can't change my email address on Firefox as it wants to send the link to my old email address, which no longer exists.. I have a secondary email address on my account, but it goes to my phone, and I don't do emails on my phone. I tried to change it, but to do so, Mozilla want to send a link (or maybe a pass number) to my old primary email address, which no longer exists.
What can I do?
If you are going to email me, please use my new email address: DougRoss70@Gmail.com Do NOT try to email me at my old email address:

ballfield, this new prompt might actually be due to the setting "Require device sign in to fill and manage passwords" being enabled?
See this article for more information. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-password-authentification-prompt
If this setting is responsible, and you decide that you want to change it, then the article has the steps.

If you are using the Primary Password then Firefox shouldn't ask for the Windows PIN as only the PP can unlock the saved logins. I assume that you are using Sync. Are you trying to use Sync to recover/access the passwords or are they still stored in logins.json in the profile folder?
