I'm on Windows 11. After I added some plug-ins and extensions to replace the ones that went missing during your last update, my bookmarks also went missing. (They were there before I replaced the plug-ins and extensions.) I followed your instructions on how to access my bookmark back ups, and found them. However, everytime, I tried to install one of the backups, I ended up with no bookmarks at all in Firefox.

Please help, I have no access to any of my accounts!

I have been with Firefox for over 20 years. The main reason is that it has always performed exactly the way I wanted it to. Just now I got a notification in windows that "Firefox is now configured to startup when you log in" WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING??? This is EXACTLY why I have used Firefox for so many years BECAUSE IT DID NOT RUN IN THE BACKGROUND CONSTANTLY!!!!! When I close something I want it OFF completely. I use a key manager and sign in and out as I need to and the LAST thing I want from a browser is it constantly running. I am an IT and systems manager and my primary reason for owning a PC is audio and video production. Background services cause issues with high performance real time audio systems which is exactly why I run windows server 2022 on all my workstations. This is also one of the biggest issues with Windows 11. Edge is one of the first things that I remove from an operating system for that same exact reason, and is also the reason I dumped Chrome nearly 2 decades ago. The recent changes I have been seeing with Firefox have been tolerable but this breaks that. I surely hope that is not the future or I will be searching for a new browser to use, even if it has to be a portable. I just want to know WHY?

While I was using Firefox, the inspector console window started opening and closing all of a sudden. Whenever I try to click on a different tab that is not the one I am currently on, it switches back to my current tab. This issue also occurs on other Firefox-based browsers, and not on any other browser I have installed.

I attempted to change the theme, I went into Safe/Troubleshoot Mode, disabling my extensions, etc, but nothing changed. I've restarted my computer twice already, and yet it doesn't seem to change anything.

The only way I could temporarily halt it was through holding Ctrl, Alt and Shift at the same time, but this only worked for as long as I held all three keys down. What should I do about this?

The VPN was working a couple of days ago, but now if I switch it on, the browser is unable to use any website. The country is displayed in the bottom left corner as "Australia" even though I set the VPN to Canada.

Firefox restores a window session from before the last time I closed the browser every time I start the browser.

At one point after reinstalling firefox I had two windows open with tabs in each. I closed the one window first with a couple worthless tabs in it before using the other tab that I'd used to continue browsing and continuing my various tab groups. Ever since then, EVERY TIME I launch firefox it launches that other window with its tabs first, although allows me to "restore previous session" overwriting all but the base tab. How the hell do I get it to fucking stop doing this? I just want the last window I closed to be the "previous session" but every single damn time it launches this unwanted window and tabs as the default! I've tried countless times to close the entire browser with the window I want but it still reverts to the previous window!

Since updating to 152.0.4 on 30 June firefox has frozen multi times a day, nothing is responsive. I've had to force close and restart. I performed suggest hang fixes, refresh, changes places names, turned off accelerations. None of that resolved the issue. I did not have this issue prior to 152.0.4. No crashes, just hangs forcing restarts - but each one forces me to re-enter all my user information for the various sites I'm using. I've see some references of similar issues with others having upgrading to 152.0.4, but there don't appear to be any clear fixes. Is this issue being evaluated?

Every time I try to access my account on Zygna FV2 it keep telling me to toggle with LAN, but every time I followed the instruction--there is no way to do it. I don't like to use Google because my farm crashes every 2 minutes. Please for the love of God help me fix my page and farm and get rid of all this nonsense. Up until today, when I double-clicked a message in the Inbox, it opened the message in a new tab, and focused that tab so I could read the message. Now it creates the tab, but I have to click on that tab to see the message. (I do not want the preview pane, either). I run 150.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows 11.

I changed the setting to open it in a new window. That had no effect.

Well I'm trying to add my shortcut History to my home and when I go into settings and try to turn them on They are all grayed out and I am unable to find a solution to turn them back on

I keep getting notification from firefox that I need to download mcafee that I have a virus I have all ready done a mcafee removal did no have it to start with can not use fire fox as it continues to give me the messages that wont stop i have turned off notifications but that isn't the answer I have malwarebytes and windows virus protection what now.

Once comments are added to a .pdf in Firefox, how can the comments be saved? The highlights show up in downloaded.pdf but when opened again in Firefox, the comments are gone. I want tosave the edited [with comments] document..how can I do that?

I have several pop up ads stating viruses and trojan horses have been found. These are all trojan horses that they want to infect my system with. They are coming from Mozilla Firefox and I have no idea how to delete the pop up ads from my screen and computer. I do know they are false as I have McAfee and Malwarebytes and they both show that I do not have any viruses. I know if I ask them to fix this they will infect my computer. I need to know how to delete them thanks

I have been user of Firefox for many years now, always setting up as default browser and in early times even uninstalling Edge, but within the last year i see more and more websites getting sluggish in firefox, Sites that dont fihish to load, blank pages, opening links taking long time. Facebook, ebay, amazon and many online stores are getting worse by the day

At the same time i open Edge and it fly, no sluggish nor blank pages, no delays

I dont like edge, i am not interested in using it

Is there a bunch of settings i can tweak to make Firefox more fluid in those websites?

Hello. After another update, there was a problem with the translation of the settings window. After opening the window, despite the specified browser language (Ukrainian), most of the items are still displayed in English. Attempts to manually edit the settings, reinstalling the browser from a fresh installer on a new system did not help. How to fix it? Windows 11, Firefox 152.0.4

I need to fix my issue with search, not sure if it is because of VPN or smth. I use Browsec as VPN, just recognized Firefox has its own VPN. Did anyone had same issue? I saw there was an update on July 1, 2026, Until yesterday everything worked fine.

Hello I've inadvertently changed my Firefox settings while I was using the new background feature. The pages are now all white and text boxes on programs highlighted. Many aspects are highlighted and I can't see the cursor at times. Would you point me in the direction to get support please? thank you, Susan

For the last 2-3 weeks, the browser has been freezing when opening new tabs. This doesn't happen all the time, but the same tabs can open correctly or the browser stops working when they are opened. The work stops for 10-20 seconds. The browser does not respond to clicks, but if you press the Win key, the window turns bright and "not responding" appears on top of the frame. I was trying to solve this problem on my own. I ran it in safe mode, disabled hardware acceleration, updated drivers for the integrated graphics and discrete graphics card, disabled all extensions, created a new profile, reinstalled the browser completely - none of this helped, the browser still freezes when opening new tabs. I also cleaned the download history, changed the proxy settings, and disabled Windows Defender. What else can I try to do to fix the browser?
