Answer: Thanks for flagging this. We’re aware that some parts of the newsletter may not display correctly in Firefox, while they do load in other browsers. Unfortunately, this is a browser-specific issue and not something we’re able to control on our end.

I don't know how to get to my prior question to update it I submitted a support question a short time ago about Firefox manage bookmarks using Waterfox version. I now think I could have been duped by the colour of the window bar. I have also found that firefox manage bookmarks does not show individual bookmarks that are not in folders - in the left pane. This also threw me. However, when I click on Bookmarks menu in left pane, the individual bookmarks are all shown in the RHS pane. I have done a quick check and the list does not contain at least two bookmark folders that are in my Waterfox bookmarks - I did not try to check all. I now think there is no problem. Interested whether anyone else has raised this. MY SUGGESTION - in the past I am confident that manage bookmarks function did not use waterfox color. In the next update try to change the manage bookmarks function window to a color different to Waterfox colors. This may not be possible if waterfox simply inherits the manage bookmarks function code incl colors.

Prior question text pasted here for completeness Yesterday I was using both Firefox and Waterfox. Since then when I try to use manage bookmarks in Firefox - I get the waterfox version of manage bookmarks showing the waterfox bookmarks list. Is there a way to get the firefox manage books back again

After updating to Firefox 147.0.3 all of my browser history (along with open tabs at the time of updating) is lost. I just updated to Windows 11 workstations (plus a couple of older Windows 10 workstations) to the current (Feb 2026) updates too. However the history data was lost before the Windows updates. I noticed that with the previous update of Firefox that saved login information was also lost. Who is doing your program updates, a chimp?

In the past when an update was done the browser would open back up with all of the previous versions session tabs in tact. But not now.

I've lost several tabs of research that was being done. Based on what has been happening, I will HAVE to change to some other browser. This is a shame as I've been a loyal Firefox user since day one. Good bye Mozilla and Firefox.

When I try to exit the fire fox browser I delete all cookies then select exit and close it out. However when start my computer the next time I get a message that fire fox is already running and if I hit the cancel button it freezes the screen and I have no options to move on. So how should you do a normal shutdown off the browser?

For some reason there appears to be an issue between my gmail account and Mozilla/Firefox. When I delete an email, the email below it is also deleted, then I have to dig it out of the trash. It doesn't happen with every deletion, but almost all of them. It's been going on for a few weeks now and is most annoying. Any suggestions for how to cure this issue? Right, it's bit hard to explain this but I'll try. I often right click on text to search google for it, but also just google stuff regularly. What happens is, after the new tab opening and I move to different tab from that google search, it forces me back to that tab. It usually happens right after opening that tab and just waiting few seconds and then switching tabs will "fix" it but it also randomly switches me to open google search from before after minutes have passed for no reason. This started happening few months ago but as I've been using less and less of my pc it hasn't been TOO much of an issue, but as I am starting to use it more again it is driving me insane. I can try to video it, I tried searching but couldn't find same behavior mentioned anywhere. Not sure what I can try to fix this.

tldr: moving from new google search tab changes tabs on itself and forces google search one to be focused, usually right after opening but sometimes after some time has passed too.

Recently I have had to sign in to my sbcglobal.net email account every single time I open Firefox on my desktop computer. Firefox is default and my sbcglobal.net mail account is set as my home page. This is not a problem on my iPhone. What is the problem with the desktop and why did it start within the last week or 2?

I cant get Pandora to load with Firefox . I am in Mexico and have been using the Browsec VPN to listen to Pandora and all of a sudden it stopped loading. I get the blue screen with Pandora logo but it doesnt go past that. Pandora works on Edge with the same VPN Browsec .

I am unable to open PDFs from my bank. I tried the following steps;

Change Default PDF Viewer:

   Go to Firefox Settings.
   Scroll down to the Applications section.
   Find Portable Document Format (PDF) in the list.
   Change the action to Open in Firefox or Preview in Firefox.

Clear Bank Cache/Cookies:

   Go to Settings > Privacy & Security.
   Select Cookies and Site Data > Manage Data.
   Search for your bank's website and clear its data.

Firefox not responding. I have tried everything on the Help pages. I have tried reset of everything. I have uninstalled and reinstalled from scratch. Still: when I open it: Firefox does not respond. And everything else also is very slow then. In Windows joblist I can see Firefox with 7-15 threads. One of them "not responding". I have no problems with Chrome nor Edge - W11, 16GB Ram

The same thing happens on my two Dell laptops (Inspiron and Latitude), and a Hyper-V VM (on my desktop PC). They all run Bazzite Linux 6.17.7-ba25.fc43.x86_64.

A video may play for a second or two, and then it's either a black screen, or an error message of "The content doesn't seem to be working."

On the same two laptops and VM, the Chromium Browser, and LibreWolf (a fork of Firefox?), have no issues playing the same videos.

Firefox version on all three systems is 147.0.3.

Any help/guidance welcome with thanks.

I have an issue where Confluence stops working after a while.

The issues are as follows:

• Opening a link will work and show the page.
• After about 5 seconds, the page will turn black.
• Using the search bar does not work, no results show.
• Trying to expand items in the sidebar does not work.
• Clicking on a link in the sidebar does work, but it too will turn black after the same 5 second delay.
• You can't edit pages.

I have found two ways to temporarily fix the issue.

• Clear the cookies for Atlassian.net.
• Go into the inspector, switch to the Network tab, tick "Disable Cache" and reload the page.

Unfortunately, this only fixes it for a week or two until it comes back.

This is not specific to any one Confluence instance. Once one stops loading, all (that we have tried) stop loading.

Installing firefox on my new device: Not all of my bookmarks are uploading from firefox on my other device.

It uploads a really old version of the tool bar even tough it shows in the HTML folder I am importing from my other device that the updated links are in the tool bar category.

I was using Firefox just fine during the day. My laptop switched off with Firefox still open (was simply doing sth else). When I switched my laptop back on and opened Firefox I was signed out of my account. When I signed back in all my profiles and bookmarks were gone. Is there anyway to fix this issue?
