I asked this question before and in response to a request upload the crash reports. But have heard nothing since. This is now happening daily. PLEASE, Mozilla, help me (and NBTW I make reg gifts in response to your appeals).

What security software besides MS Defender are you running? Windows home or pro? If you're running Windows Pro version, I would test in the Sandbox to confirm. https://www.howtogeek.com/399290/how-to-use-windows-10s-new-sandbox-to-safely-test-apps/

Do you have the same issues using a different user account?

You can also try Refresh Firefox. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings

Freinds: this is driving me to distraction. The problem continues. One reply said it was being caused by Bitdefender, and the Bitdefender people have tried to help. I have followed their suggestions. Firefox still, regularly, gets upset and shows two messages, previously posted but reproduced again here. I have followed the advice given. What should I now do? (BTW, I gladly respond to requests for donations to Firefox et al and whilst not expecting that gives me any right to help I do think I need help as this is becoming too much to tolerate and is distrupting my work. It is happening circa 12 times a day). BW Hugh London

We're sorry to hear that Firefox is crashing. In order to assist you better, please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A list of Submitted (and Unsubmitted, if any) Crash Reports will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Submitted Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)
