Firefox only displays the home page with the Firefox symbol and search bar. I try to go to a site and it says "Server Not Found", Opera and Chrome won't even open, but Internet Explorer works fine. I tried "No Proxy", IPv6, and DNS Prefetching...none of that changed anything. I have a XP with Service Pack 2.

EDIT: I changed the Firewall settings on Norton 360 to "Allow", but still no change.

EDIT (12/01): All servers work on Administrative account on computer, but not mine (Guest, etc.).

Some firewalls like Norton can be very persistent in allowing a specific Firefox version and current rules may still apply to a previous Firefox version and not to the currently installed Firefox version.

A possible cause is security software (firewall,anti-virus) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
