when i search on mozilla,windows live pops up and blocks my search

I'm not sure I understand the problem you're having. Is the issue that when you type something into the search bar at the top of mozilla and hit return, that the page you're looking at changes to Windows live? I assume you're using Windows? What version? Are you searching using the Awesome Bar (the main text input area) or the search area, or are you on the search page and typing into the page itself?

Hi, I am running Windows Vista,this just started to happen when using Mozilla Firefox as usual...I can open my favorites,Google news etc. I am not using awesome bar at the top.I use the main search box in the middle of the page as usual...this also shows recently viewed,such as weather.com....when I try to open these OR type in a new query,up pops Microsoft account, formerly Windows Live...which stops any further action. I cant get rid of it ...any ideas...go back to a restore point?
