how do you get the desk top to get the file bookmarks history at the top of firefox. if there is no way to get it then tell me which one still has it so that i can get that one or i have to look for other one to use i do not like it it more time to do thing this way i have take it off my other laptop now this one i will be doing the same if this is the only way firefox is now i did like the way to get to thing before not now.

To display the "classic" menu bar instead of the orange Firefox button you can:
tap the Alt key to show the menu temporarily, then View > Toolbars > Menu bar
Does that fix it? Any other UI questions while we're at it?
clicking on the orange button will show you a drop-down menu with bookmarks.
Check also use bookmarks to save and organize websites and let us know about any open questions.

ok but what about the back bottom you can not jump back. if you would like to go back like 2 or4 pages back at one time or can you?
Click-hold the Back button to see the back menu or right-click the Back button to see that history menu.
And if you miss the visual cue of the downward pointing triangle, someone created an add-on for that.

It likely will separate the back/forward buttons from the address bar so they don't merge together.
