The 14.0.1 Update changed the look of things , I want the old look back.
I got the usual update prompt, went through withit, and found some ugly, unwanted changes in firefox. Buttons, sliders, and progress bars look like they've been cut and paste from windows 2000. I want the vista areo style I had back.

Well, I'll be. The problem just mysteriously fixed itself over night.

If it is the flat buttons you do not like, the Classic Toolbar Buttons add-on will restore the old toolbar buttons - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/cstbb/
ooh, I like it. However, it doesn't fix the problem I'm having. Buttons and other things look square, instead of rounded and sometimes semi-transparent. Bookmarks, menus, the slider that moves pages around, the status bar in the download window are all still Windows 2000-ish.
Are you using small buttons or large buttons?
- Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout
- View > Toolbars > Customize
You can also search the Add-ons website to see if you can find a better looking theme.
I'm using Large Icons, and themes don't have any effect. Hell, when aero turns off during a fullscreen game, the downloads window itself turns into a windows 2000 look-alike.
