I cannot update to the most recent Firefox version. When I download and try to replace the older version, I get the message that the newer version cannot be installed because the older version of Firefox is in use?

If you updating by dragging a new version of Firefox to your Applications folder you have to make sure that Firefox is no running.
- Click on Firefox in the dock
- Go to the Firefox menu and select "Quit Firefox"
- Then drag the new version of Firefox to your applications folder
