I'm not understanding these instructions... Sorry.

Never mind, I just restarted Firefox and my homepage showed up instead of the blank page with the type... Guess I did understand lol.

Sorry it is your homepage you identified and not the default search engine from the location bar, though from the content for your home page, you probably did need to do what was provided before, but the home page itself was not addressed.

To restore your home page to the default home page, use

• Tools > Options > General > ...

When Firefox Starts: Show my home page

Click on "Restore to default"

If you had a specific page you want as your home page, the easiest way is to have exactly the pages that you as your home page as the only pages open on the window, and then to set your home page

• Tools > Options > General > ...

When Firefox Starts: Show my home page

Click on "Use Current Page(s)"

Still not fixed, it eventually keeps opening up to the white window with that text. IDK!!

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

• Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

• Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

• Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Only works momentarily eventually it goes back to white screen with type. Maybe I'm not doing something right
