Bookmarks missing from Show All Bookmarks

I can see my bookmarks under the Bookmarks menu, but when I want to organize my bookmarks and go Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks, nothing's there. I've tried restoring my bookmarks from a previous date and even importing my bookmarks from a previously saved .html file, but the problem persists.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
