Will the latest DownloadHelper addon work with the latest Mozilla addon?

Several months ago, I upgraded my Mozilla browser. The DownloadHelper add-on did NOT work with this upgrade. So I had to return to my previous, older, Mozilla version -- which I still have. I keep getting emails saying I should upgrade my Mozilla. I don't want to lose the use of my add-ons if I do this. Any help, here, please?

You probably want to do the security update to 3.6.18, but if this add-on is critical to you and there are no good substitutes, then you should hold off on Firefox 5.

i have Mozilla 5.0 and DownloadHelper 4.9.3. Both versions are latest on my platform (windows XP) And both are working fine. I think you should update. If you will have any problems we are here to help.
