Anyone else having poblems with Private Browsing NOT working? (It is keeping cookies when it shouldn't.)

"Clear Recent History" occasionally won't clear the cookies. And YES I checked of the all the boxes in the settings section, including cookies and passwords. So I switch to "Permanent Private Browsing" which worked at first, but is now having the same problem.

Is there a fix for this? I will uninstall FF4, and reinstall FF3, if there isn't ASAP. I can't trust FF right now.

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
