lost bookmarks but when trying to restore get message can't process backup file
Actually this is under Firefox 5 but this was not a selectable option.
Just noticed my bookmarks are gone for no particular reason. I accessed them earlier in the day, 6-8 hours ago. Tried to restore to several previous dates but each time "Firefox unable to process backup file" even after shutting down Windows.

If your changes to your bookmarks do not appear when you restart Firefox, the issue may be that your bookmarks file is write-protected. A write-protected file cannot be changed, which prevents your edits to your bookmarks from being saved. Please locate your profile and check the places.sqlite file permissions, size, date of creation and date of modification.
