I need some information about your device to help solve the problem.

  • OS (Is it Windows 11 or Mac OS ? or something else?)
  • Hardware (Processor, RAM size)

Are you experiencing slow performance in other apps? If only Firefox has started running very slowly recently, here are some common fixes:

  • Close all tabs
  • Restart Firefox
  • Temporarily disable all extensions to check whether an extension is causing the issue
  • Remove all cookies and cache (you will be logged out of all websites)

If you’re still experiencing the issue, try:

  • Create a new profile and see whether the issue still persists in the new profile
  • Refresh Firefox(Menu > Help > Troubleshooting Information)
