can no longer copy attachments to Quickbooks by dragging into the program or to a folder on drive

After the most recent update to Thunderbird, I can no longer copy attached files on incoming emails to either my Quickbooks program or a folder on the hard drive by dragging over. Now must copy manually to drive. Can this be corrected?

I've been told this is a bug in the newest versions and will be corrected in the next release.
