While I don't personally understand the circumstances when this gets shown, and then never removed either upon finishing the steps of after some period of inactivity in general — there's always the option to remove that button manually if you're stuck in this unfortunate state — just right clicking it will give you the option to hide the button (for good, hopefully). 🤞
