the mail is not coming and thunderbird is very slow
We are facing issues with Thunderbird mail application.
Incoming emails are not being received in Thunderbird. Thunderbird is running very slowly and frequently becomes unresponsive. Sending and receiving emails is taking a long time. We have already restarted the application and system, but the issue still persists.
Kindly check the mail server settings and Thunderbird configuration from your end and advise on the necessary action to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
Your prompt support will be highly appreciated.

Hello there amal
Incoming emails are not being received in thunderbird.okay.
What operating system do you use , can i ask?
Can we look first at :
Open Thunderbird and go to Account Settings > Server Settings.
Imap : 993 ssl/tls security Pop3 : 995 ssl/tls security Smtp port : 485 or 587 with ssl/tls or starttls .
Ensure your server name, port, and security settings match your email provider's exact requirements.Restart Thunderbird in Troubleshoot Mode to see if an add-on or extension is causing the issue.
Check if you are running any active antivirus or VPN services. Log in to your email via your web browser (webmail). If your emails are missing there as well, it is likely a server-side problem.
Did you receive messages for warnings or errors? Can you send me these as well? How much email storage did you have?

Been battling the same issue with incoming mail server not sending the mail forward. Web mail is fine, so its a problem with settings, or not hand shaking with my income server. It tries, but will time out after some time. Shows port 993 has an issue, but my server assures me there is no issue on there side. During the last 5 days of this issues, for whatever reason as times the mail does get forward to my mail account, but its been spotty at best. My server tech folks thought I should pass this on to you right away as there is nothing they can do to fix the issue on their end.
Thanks, praying the next update corrects this issue, I miss my Thunder Bird:(
Update on incoming mail server issues. May have been the modem. Had advice to shut it down for ten minutes, then disconnect and blow it out with office air. Rebooted and so far all incoming mail is flowing again. Now this morning still have in and out flowing, but notice the lights all flashing top to bottom on router. Its over 10 years old, and no doubt is toast, and way outdated, so that may have been the issue.
