I want to enable voice input with search without using Google. How can I accomplish this

Hi
What search engine would you like to use? If it supports voice search I might be able to help you set it as the default search engine in Firefox for Android.
Thank you... I am a complete novice. I'm trying to make my activity online more secure. I have loaded Foxfire Focus on my phone and computer and am switching from Gmail to proton Mail and old-school write the password down to protonpass... What a confusing ride this is and my functionality has greatly been reduced as I try to stop using Google. Quite the learning curve.
I want to use the most private search engine with voice input capabilities... It seems convenience comes at the cost of privacy. I don't fully understand the difference between a search engine and a browser. Until recently I thought they were the same thing. I chose FoxFire because I understood it to be more private. I am assuming Mozilla owns foxfire... and that's why I'm here. 😆
With foxfire widget... voice input automatically defaults to Google. This is where I originally wanted to be able to voice input yet without using Google.
With Duck Duck Go widget... voice input works from the main widget on phone yet once in the search engine it doesn't work any more.
Hope that makes sense. I welcome any suggestions that simplify this whole process. Thanks
