Whilst setting up Thunderbird I have had trouble setting up XMPP. My XMPP account works fine with BeagleIM but I am having trouble getting used to how Thunderbird does things. Anyway, I now have more than one XMPP account but cannot delete the unwanted ones. How can I delete duff XMPP accounts?

The same way you delete any surplus accounts or any kind. You go into account settings tab. Select the account and use the account actions button at the bottom of the list to remove it.

Account Actions has been removed from TB 137+, replaced by a red Delete button in the right pane of Account Settings when the account is selected in the left pane.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I did try the big red delete button but I am not sure if the same account was in the left pane when I tried the red button. I have currently deleted the entire programme and started again as I wish to keep it tidy and will investigate that when I have it running again.
