             On Desktop:
   1. Open YouTube: Go to the YouTube website and play the video you want to watch. 
   2. Access the Video Player Controls: Hover over the video to see the playback controls. 
   3. Turn Off Captions: 
       ◦ Click on the CC (Closed Captions) button in the lower right corner of the video player. If captions are currently on, clicking this button will turn them off. 
       ◦ Alternatively, you can click on the gear icon (Settings) next to the CC button, then select "Subtitles/CC" and choose "Off." 

On Mobile (YouTube App):

   1. Open the YouTube App: Launch the YouTube app on your mobile device and play the video. 
   2. Access the Video Player Controls: Tap on the video to bring up the playback controls. 
   3. Turn Off Captions: 
       ◦ Tap on the CC button if it appears on the video. Tapping it will toggle captions on or off. 
       ◦ If you don't see the CC button, tap on the three dots (More options) in the upper right corner, then select "Captions" and choose "Off." 

Note:

   • If you want to turn off captions for all videos, you may need to adjust your account settings: 
       1. Go to your YouTube account settings by clicking on your profile picture in the top right corner. 
       2. Select "Settings." 
       3. Click on "Playback and performance." 
       4. Under "Subtitles and closed captions," you can choose your preferences.
