Are you sure your security software isn't blocking the options to enable saved AutoFill/AutoSave feature?

Do you mean that you can't place a tick in this box ?

You can't have multiple Password Managers enabled at the same time, so if you have others like RoboForm or Trend Micro Password Manager then the builtin Firefox Password Manager will be disabled.
