Thunderbird won't stay on second monitor

I'm on a Mac desktop running Big Sur/OS 11.2.1 with two monitors. I use Thunderbird as my email client. I've had this setup for a couple of years now and it has run fairly faultlessly. I have it set up for Thunderbird to open on my second monitor and have had no problems with this. However, since the update to Thunderbird 78 a few days ago, it refuses to open on the second monitor and will only open on the primary monitor and then has to be dragged. I've checked the usual Apple culprits of Mission Control and Display and everything is exactly as I had set it before (all the boxes unticked in Mission Control. The icon in the task bar set to 'None' for monitors.) Regardless, Thunderbird will not stay where it is supposed to. Any suggestions?

SOLVED: It appears you need to "train" Thunderbird to the second monitor. I have had this issue a few times now, usually whenever I have had to unplug the second monitor for some reason and use just one. Then when I plug it back in, Thunderbird refuses to open on the second monitor. However, if I keep dragging it back to the right place - many times - it finally gets the idea and will then start opening on the correct monitor. And inelegant solution, but it does work.
