Sending messages stops after 10-15minutes after opening TB

When I first open TB I can send messages. But after 10-15minutes I get the error: Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail: Unable to establish a secure link with Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp-mail.outlook.com using STARTTLS since it doesn't advertise that feature. Switch off STARTTLS for that server or contact your service provider. So it works initially and then stops!

do you have an anti virus? Could be it is dropping the ball and just giving up after 15 minutes.

Thanks Matt. Seems that this worked, although I need to do more tests. I disabled Avast Free Edition and was able to send the email with no issue. Thanks again.
