Hi All,

I have an issue where Windows Defender keeps on trying to Delete a file that has an Virus in my mail. The mail has been Deleted long ago but it is still showing it is trying to remove it.

Below is the location.

file:C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\2f181zfk.default\ImapMail\PROVIDER\INBOX.sbd\Sent->(part4755:Absa Online Security SureCheck 2.0 security upgrade.htm)->(SCRIPT0000)

How do i remove this please.

If you already deleted the offending message, compact the folder it was in to purge it from the local copy.

Right-click the folder which contained the message and select the Compact option. See Compacting folders
