I'm trying to create a new Firefox sync account with my current primary email. My current primary email was used as the secondary email in the old account that I have recently deleted. When I submit the form to create my new account, the system tells me that the email is used in another account. How can ensure that my primary email is no longer in use after having deleted my old primary account?

I removed my new primary email address as the recovery email address for another account and that cleared up the issue. I've created my new Firefox Sync account and am good to go.

Can you login to that old account (email) or request a password reset for this account?

I can log into to the old email account. However, the Firefox sync account associated to the old email account (for which my new email account was associated as a recovery email) has been deleted. One would think this would make my new email account no longer associated with any Mozilla record, but somehow the conflict is there. Is there anyway to contact Mozilla directly to have the record deleted?

I removed my new primary email address as the recovery email address for another account and that cleared up the issue. I've created my new Firefox Sync account and am good to go.
