When in Firefox, press Alt+T. This should bring up Tools.

Thanks to D. Ruiz and Happy112 for their solutions to my problem, neither ow which worked.Pressing Alt-T in FireFox produced a drop-down menu in which none of the items was "tools", and the same was true for clicking on the 3-bar menu in the upper right corner of the FireFox page.

Hi, to bring up the menu bar (File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help) temporarily, press Alt. If you would like it to remain there all the time, right click in the tab bar (but not on a tab) and tick/check Menu Bar.

When you press 'Alt'   you'll see 'Tools' at the top of your screen, just above that dropdown. The 3-bar menu takes you to the Firefox menu, from where you can choose not just 'Options' and 'Add-ons', but much more.

Are you using Firefox Beta or the Developer Edition (DE has moved to the 54 beta version recently, but update channel is still aurora)?
