NewfabTv is causing problems and I cant seem to get rid of this adware, help please.

When i try to open new window in Firefox, I am directed to a website "NewfabTv". I have tried carrying out virus scans etc but there seems to be no way of removing this problem, and any help would be appreciated.

Think I've found out how to remove this, its apparently an add on which I have disabled.
