One e-mail account suddenly stopped working. Tried deleting account and re-adding, but it won't configure. Help???

I have several msn/hotmail accounts. One recently stopped working for no apparent reason.

I tried to delete the account (from Thunderbird) and re-add it. It will not configure, saying "Configuration could not be verified - is the username or password wrong?"

I can sign into my account via the website (hotmail.com), but cannot get it to work in Thunderbird. Any suggestions?
