when accessing bbc homepage firefox cycles between bbc.com and bbc.co.uk continually, other browsers ok firefox reset and opening in safe mode does not cure the problem. Other bbc sites e.g. news or sport all ok

HI jimwf, First clear the cache for that particular site, then please check to make sure that location services are on or off when it happens.

  1. Click on the left most portion of the url bar
  2. CLick on the arrow on the right that shows up on the box that opens
  3. CLick on "More information"
  4. Click on the Permissions tab of the box that opens up
  5. Check that "Access your location" is allow or default for that website.

Thanks for your reply, the problem seems to have rectified itself sometime today. It was happening in the morning but in the afternoon all was ok. I'll keep your info in case it happens again.
