I have deleted all other search engines including download77 except Google and they do not return after I close and reopen Firefox. I do not like it and need it gone.

Hi, check for it in the Add-ons Manager (Ctrl+Shift+A).

Also check in your PC's programs.

If none of the above helps, you can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Note that not all removal programs will detect all malware, so you may need to run several or all of them.

After removal you may need to reset your search, which you can do by running the add-on SearchReset.
