When I receive an e-mail with a .pdf attachment how do I change the "Do this automativally for files like this from now on."
I mistakenly clicked on the box and now I can't change it back to let me choose...

You can change how Firefox handles downloads using the Applications panel of the Options page.
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Applications
It may take several seconds for Firefox to fill the list. Then type pdf in the search box above the list to filter it.
Firefox should display Portable Document Format (PDF) on the left.
On the right side, there is a drop-down list which should let you switch to "Always Ask" or your choice of viewer or external application.
