How do I permanently stop Firefox’s permission popup from appearing on every website and tab when neither Allow nor Block saves my choice?
Firefox repeatedly displays the same permission popup on a lot of website and tabs and especially when I open,ChatGPT. Even after I check “Remember this decision” and select Allow or Block, it keeps returning. I already changed the permission settings, but that didn’t fix it. How do I permanently stop this popup and make Firefox save my choice?

If the popup mentions device apps or local network access, Firefox added these permissions in newer versions. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Permissions, find the relevant permission, click Settings, and check whether your choice is saved for that site. Permissions are site-specific, so different websites may still ask. If the same site keeps prompting on every tab, check whether Firefox is clearing site preferences when it closes.
