Why did you destroy bookmark management and delete all previous bookmarks in favor of stuff that makes no sense

why did you destroy the existing bookmark structure and replace it with something that makes no sense. I have no idea from where you obtained the url's for the stuff that's in bookmark's now. I also do not look forward to having to re-create all of the bookmarks I had in place. I won't be doing that on Mozilla! R Crider

Hi this is a forum and the people here don't make any updates, and Mozilla the business didn't delete you bookmarks though they may have been overwritten by an update.

A couple of things 1. In future back up anything that is important to you. 2. You can find the bookmarks that exist in the current 'prolife' by access it. 3. Type about:profiles into the URL/address bar and you should see the profiles that exist.

You may find more than one profile, so open each and see what bookmark files you have. You can tell by the size if one is new or old etc.

If you find a large old one move that to the 'new' profile.

Once you know where the profiles are, close Fx so it doesn't try to reset from your intrusion into the current profile.

Soemthing like this, though this is on Linux not Windows

Root Directory /home/ ##my user name ##/.mozilla/firefox/hesvph4a.default-release

In there you will find a [bookmarks] folder
