Try reinstalling Firefox and see if that helps. It looks like maybe something in your Firefox installation is missing or damaged.

The Firefox installer should detect your existing installation and continue with your existing profile. It should not erase any data. If you're not sure, you could make a backup. See:

Manually back up and restore Firefox profile data
