i lost 2step authentication app and key that's needs to login i only know the account recovery key and password the app was updated so the earlier account details i lost i faced hard disk issue so it won't boot at all so replaced the hard disk i tried lot of method as mentioned here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/what-if-im-locked-out-two-step-authentication but i changed the password and i can't create the new key i am not received any mail the make new key it says pls check the mail for key that there is no mail i received and i tired earlier to disable the two step verification but it won't work

So is the registered email for the recovery the same as the one you're using now?

If you have reset the password of the Firefox account then this invalidates previously generated recovery keys.

If you can access this account page, if necessary after another password reset, then try to disable two factor authentication (2FA) to see if that gives access. This requires a fresh login.

hi cor-el i tried this way as mentioned in the help page as i mentioned above but it won't works it says nothing after that my hard disk failed so i using other one there is no way to access the disk i have a account recovery key and the email account i used here i can't create the key as shown in the help page it just says please check the email for confirmation i have a lot of account and passwords are stored i am not expect this gonna happen

I changed the password but its still asks recovery code
