Error message: "Error: Platform version '52.9.1' is not compatible with minVersion >= 52.9.0 maxVersion <= 52.9.0"
When trying to open Mozilla thunderbird it gives me this error message: "Error: Platform version '52.9.1' is not compatible with minVersion >= 52.9.0 maxVersion <= 52.9.0"
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Your email and settings are separate from the program. A new install should pick up your profile with all your data intact.

Does it open eventually?
Nothing, it keeps giving me the same message. It was working perfectly the day before, today its showing the message
Please post your Troubleshooting Information.
At the top right of the Thunderbird window, click the menu button , then select Help > Troubleshooting Information.
Press the "Copy text to clipboard button" and paste the information into your reply.
The program does not open, it gives the message when executing the program. I wonder if it will help if I uninstall it and reinstall it, but I'm afraid all the emails will be lost.

A profile backup is a good idea even when things are working well. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data
