MULTI[LE UNLOADED TABS

more options

This has randomly occurred In the past several weeks that I've been using Quantum.

I get multiple unloaded or unloadable tabs. I've attached examples.

A typical example of an unloadable tab is they all have the same address prefix, which is partially displayed in the tab title, i.e this is the about:addon page that didn't won't load, and below two attachments of what the page looks like on different occasions.

Below those 2 images, examples of how the tabs appear. The fourth image is a tab that loaded when it was individually selected. That's the thing, some load, some don't,

I'm using "Tab Session Manager". When it happened today, I restored a session from yesterday that had very similar data, and it was fine. I'm not positive but I believe this has happened without session manager installed.

I was using the "Unload Tabs" addon when this happened, but it also happened on a couple of previous occasions when I was first using "Auto Tab Discard"

It sounds as though there might be some incompatibility between the tab unloading add-on and the session manager. However, I don't use either of those, and I can't recall seeing a similar thread before. Could you try posting on their support channels?

(You might search to see whether an issue was already submitted.)

This just happened (see below)

Thanks for the links. I'll definitely pay them a visit.

I've been using "Session Manager" (the best, IMO) in pre57 for years, and It looked like "Tab Session Manager", was the closest to in terms of features and concept, but it's got quirks, and one thing about it that's really a concern is it loads every tab when the browser launches, unless I'm not losing it properly.

It has a "Tab lazy loading" that looks like it should that, but it doesn't. Opening the browser is an unnecessary mess.

I assume you're using tab/session management. Do you have any recommendations.

Anything that resembles Session Manager and Tab Mix plus?

thanks

I set Firefox to start up with my previous session windows and tabs (Options page) and hope for the best. I'm not using any of the add-ons.
