GIFs won't run on Firefox, old OS (Windows XP)?

Updating an old computer and Firefox isn't running GIFS. It goes straight to the page on Imgur, but the GIF does not load.

Have you tried updating to the latest available version ?

Are those GIFs animated GIFs?

Animated GIFs are probably MP4 files and Windows XP doesn't support these media files natively.

You can try whether the solution posted here to add support for playing MP4 files works for you.
