A few weeks ago, I received a message asking me to reboot to finish changes. After the reboot, I got the same message. It has never resolved. When I try to uninstall, I get the same message. When I try to re-install, I get the same message. Nothing is working. Please help!

Chosen solution

Shut down Thunderbird. Delete the program folder at C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird Reinstall the program from https://www.mozilla.org/thunderbird/

You will not lose your data, BUT it is smart to back it up on a regular basis https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data#w_backing-up-a-profile

Does that help??
