oppen multiple tabs

Too often I will try to open multiple tabs from my bookmark tool bar and after opening 3 or 4 tabs no more will load. All I can do is reload Fire fox and start over. I have refreshed Firefox several times and it works for a while. If I use MS Edge it works fine every time. I really don't want to switch over to MS edge. Please help.

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or if userChrome.css/userContent.css is causing the problem.

  • switch to the Default System theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window
