Azure DevOps unusable in Firefox
Hello, I'm using Firefox as my default browser for a while now (10+ years) and I'm getting frustrated with this issue when using Azure Devops. Comments don't load at all and most pages take a long time to load if they load at all. Various features also take a long time to load or don't work at all (examples include adding a reviewer, referencing a story with #, etc.). Anyone else experience this?
It works well for maybe an hour, and after a couple of days it makes no sense anymore.
Now I'm using firefox containers with a container only for Azure Devops and seems working better but ... Curious thing is that it pops up and asks for credentials periodically every 5 or 10 minutes. Well, unless the boxes are already filled up with the credentials.
Thanks,

Does it still happen in Troubleshoot Mode?
I'm trying now in Troubleshoot Mode and will let you know how it goes.
Thanks for you quick response!
I was seeing this same issue particularly with viewing test results and runs. I restarted the Firefox, cleared cache on all sites affected, that seemed to help for a bit like OP mentioned. But I started seeing the issue again within an hour, or sometimes just a few clicks. Using Troubleshoot Mode helped me narrow the problem down. It was caused by the Firefox extension: uBlock Origin. Disabling just that one made all my pages start loading as they were before: Test Runs, results, and Release Stage Logs and Tests tabs. I did see one request for credentials pop up randomly while navigating Devops pages. This is possibly an indicator that Devops has changed some protocols so that normal traffic is trying to route outside of my internal TFS/Azure network and back again. If you disable your extensions and see similar results, this conversation may be better suited on for Devops support rather than Firefox. Somewhat related to that, and I digress: I haven't seen either of these issues when using Edge.
It still happens in troubleshoot mode after several hours. I first tried disabling all extensions to no avail. Then I used a container and the same thing. This is the error I see in the console, while in troubleshoot mode. Uncaught (in promise) NetworkException: TF400893: Unable to contact the server. Please check your network connection and try again.

To make it works I just opened a container. I know it will fail eventually and for that case I will close the container and open another.
Hopefully this will be fixed some day.

Does it still happen in a new profile? An easy way to test a new profile is to install Developer Edition and see if it happens there or refresh your existing profile. Make sure you stay signed out of your sync account when testing.
Let me try that and I will keep you posted. Again, thank you very much for all your help!
Yes, unfortunately it's still happening with the same error/exception mentioned above. :( I forgot to mention that I'm using Firefox Developer Edition as suggested and signed out of my account.

Today while I was working in azure devops and after wrote a long post when I tried to save it, it thrown an exception, the dialog went blank and I lost the post. Unfortunately I cannot keep using firefox for azure devops nor for dynamics 365 either. But as soon as this issue is fixed I will go back to firefox of course. I will keep using firefox for all the other sites.
Does it still happen with the ESR version (115)?
I will try it and keep you posted. Thanks for the suggestion!
Unfortunately the same. This time I was able to reproduce it faster opening several tabs pointing to the same site.
Does it still happen with the flatpak package?
The machine where it doesn't work is a windows machine
