I tried updating Flash several times. I tried disabling all plug ins then enabling one at a time. No luck. I uninstalled Adobe Flas. I go to download Version 11.9.900.152. I click download, brings me to a page with three boxes, the right box says customer security alert more information click here. This brings to a faq about the hack Adobe had and is for paid users.here id the link http://www.adobe.com/. I have no video in You Tube.

Some privacy and ad-blocking extensions can create problems with Flash on sites that use pre-roll advertising or host on a separate server. To see whether extensions might play a role, could you try Youtube in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.

You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using

Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled (Flash will still work)

In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Reset)

Any difference?

Note that your System Details List shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize some prefs on each start of Firefox.

The user.js file is only present if you or other software has created it, so normally it wouldn't be there. you can check its content with a plain text editor if you didn't create this file yourself.

The user.js file is read each time you start Firefox and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so preferences set via user.js can only be changed temporarily for the current session.

You can use the SearchReset extension to reset some preferences to the default values.

Note that the SearchReset extension only runs once and then uninstalls automatically, so it won't show on the "Firefox > Add-ons" page (about:addons).

To make this short . I have tried all the suggestion that you suggested, also tried the ones Corel also sent me in reply. The problem was with Adobe and the hack they had, I reset my password in Adobe and still had problems, I went to Adobes Forum with this problem, was told 3 different procedures to correct , so I can download new version of Flash, no luck. Finally I rebooted PC, Update popup came up to download new version of Flash, said installed so I closed. Did not see the new version in Firefox add-ons, just11.4. I disabled it and went to update through add-ons I clicked update, then download 11.9, rtight back to Adobes homepage. I downloaded flash file and saved it. Executed exe, file and it installed. I opened add-ons did not see new version just 11.4 again, disabled it restarted Firefox, no good. I tried rebooting windows. Opened Firfox went to addons and saw new version set to ask to activate, set it to always activate and disabled 11.4 (old version). Opened you tube Wa La!!! Videos playing and I can see them. My question now is should I uninstall old version or leave it disabled. I am afraid to even attempt it. I have done this numerous times while trying many other ways of troubleshooting the problem. I basically stated the short version of what I did to resolve problem. The whole thing was Adobes fault not any browsers, especially Firefox which I have ben using since Netscape's first version

Thanks for the help anyway , much appreciated. I was just about to reinstall windows and reformat.

I don't know why Firefox isn't showing the video. It works in Firefox 10 versions (including ESR), but not in later 11+ releases and thus also not in the current release. There is also no Flash player shown and I can't right-click the player area. Using "Inspect Element" shows the correct embed code. If I doesn't activate the Adobe Flash Player then I can open that frame in a new tab via the right-click context menu and see the video, but I can't see the video in an iframe on this page. So it looks like some security measure is preventing this.
