I thought that I was updating Firefox and everything would be okay. I'm totally at a loss and anxious as hell!

Something was wrong with my computer tonight when I turned it on. One of your FIREFOX pages came up and suggested that I "upgrade," I guess. Anyway, several iterations later and I was back online. I noticed, though, that several ICONS that I had before were missing now. Worse than that, I went to my "Files" and "Downloads" and they have all apparently disappeared.

I am not terribly Computer Savvy and so there may be some solution that I just don't know about. At least, I hope that's the case - AND I HOPE THAT ONE OF YOUR TECHNICIANS CAN HELP ME RETRIEVE THEM.

This article may be a good place to start. When you say that "something was wrong with my computer" do you mean the Firefox issues? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/recover-user-data-missing-after-firefox-update

If you can give more details on this . . .

For example, if the computer lost power, it could be that some files were corrupted.
