My searches are being hijacked by yahoo. The answers I found here are all the obvious no-brain stuff like 'remove yahoo' , reset default search preference. The malware is much deeper than that. Mozilla needs to regain control of its software. I've recently download from CNET and remote-desktop-control.com. One of the two delivered the malware, that's my guess.

Thanks and Best regards, Bill Russell

Tyler Down:

Thanks. Meanwhile I simply rebooted the Win7 desktop, and the problem (temporarily at least) is gone.

I'll definitely follow your suggestions, however. Thanks for the help.

Love you guys, and Firefox.

Regards, Bill

Tyler - took a while to get back to you because I refreshed and then look what popped up when I clicked to reply to you: "The owner of accounts.firefox.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.

"This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that Firefox may only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate."
