When reading Gmail or Outlook messages, a new listing is added to my 'most visited' list in the Bookmarks area. How do I turn off this feature?

Hi, I never see that myself as use bookmarks differently. I think you turn it off on the New Tab Page as per article https://www.ghacks.net/2017/09/13/firefox-57-disable-highlights-on-the-new-tab-page/ disable Highlights.

Is my best guess at that as nothing on it since ver 57 November 2017 Everything I find is before that and does not work. This could possibly work also : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/new-tab-override/

Please let us know if that is correct or not, Thanks.

Hi sdbowe33, I don't think you can control what shows up on Most Visited, it's just the result of a search on your history. Usually an address you just visit once won't appear on Most Visited. Do you clear your history regularly?

Anyway, Most Visited is a special kind of bookmark folder and you can completely delete the folder by right-clicking Most Visited and choosing Delete.
