I used to get large icons on the Firefox desktop from previous searches, but no longer. How can I do again.
When I went , i.e., my bank or a Church website, there would appear large icons on my Firefox desktop when I launched Firefox. Now, they only appear along the top border of the screen in small detail. I tried doing copy or drag to get those icons to appear rather than a blank screen and the small items just below the search bar.
Now, I do get me last website contacts showing as icons in Google, but no longer in Firefox. Am I doing something wrong?

I am not sure what you mean by "Firefox Desktop" but perhaps you mean your start page. If you click on the ☰ and Options then at the top of "General" is "when firefox starts." Try putting that to "Show your windows and tabs from last time" which may then show these icons that you are looking for (assuming you opened your Church / Bank website in your last session).
OR better perhaps, Under "When FIrefox Starts" choose "show your homepage" and In the Home Page setting click on "Use Bookmark..." and slect the bookmarks or Bookmark folder probably, "Bookmarks Toolbar," which should then show the small icons in your bookmarks toolbar as large icons on your Firefox home screen.
