Hi nelson88, how are you requesting the window? If you start Firefox in a normal window, then the private windows look very different: purple background start page, mask icon on the title bar. However, if you use "automatic private browsing" then all windows are private and Firefox does not mark them specially. That's something you would need to turn on yourself because it's not the usual setting. You can check that here: * Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options * Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences * Linux: "3-bar" menu button (or Edit menu) > Preferences * Any system: type or paste '''about:preferences''' into the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it In the left column, click Privacy & Security. On the right side, if you have either of these, then your Firefox is using automatic private browsing: * Firefox will: Never remember history * Firefox will: Use custom settings for history PLUS "Always use private browsing mode" Do you have either of those?
