all new tabs keeps loading and loading forever while only the first tab was able to surf the internet.
Hi, i got a problem with the new update of my firefox, everytime I click the new tab after the first tab it just keeps on loading and loading, it doesnt redirect to the site and only the first tab I was able to use. I tried looking for answers but I can't find it.
Chosen solution
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

Also, make sure you didn't enable the redirect block. You can check for that here:
- Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options
- Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences
- Linux: "3-bar" menu button (or Edit menu) > Preferences
In the left column, click Advanced. Then on the right side, with the "General" mini-tab active, make sure the following is not selected (box is not checked): "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page"

Oh wait, I think the Options/Preferences page may be laid out differently in Firefox 56. In that case, try this:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste auto and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the accessibility.blockautorefresh preference to switch the value from false to true
