Hi conniecay54, where do the files show up?
For example, are these history items from sites you visited before that show up on the new tab page? More info on the new tab page: Customize your New Tab page to hide or display content.
Or unwanted pages/tabs that open unexpectedly? That can be caused by a bad add-on. (More info if it's relevant.)

Thank you for your help. I followed your instructions on how to go to the files and tap it and hold it down. When the menu came up I hit remove and the files were deleted. Thank you again and also thank the people who help with these problems.
