Can spell check be configured to check spelling in the subject line of Outlook (Hotmail) email messages?
It use to be possible (I think) to include automatic spell check for the content in the outgoing Outlook email messages subject line (Win10). Now it appears that spell check only works if there is more than one line available.
Chosen solution
Hey there, should be doable.
What you need to do is what is described in Fred's answer here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1102214.
Type about:config<enter> in the address bar. If a warning screen comes up, press the Be Careful button. At the top of the screen is a search bar.
Type: layout.spellcheckDefault Its values are; 0 Spell Checker Off 1 Check Only Multi-Line Input Boxes. 2 Check Multi And Single Line Input Boxes.

That worked - thanks. I would think the default would be a "2".
You're welcome! I agree, I don't get why it should be turned off for single-line boxes by default (I guess it could get in the way of searches and logins).
